About the Course

Designed for health center staff, enrollment teams, community navigators, and others who help patients access care, this course provides a foundational introduction to the HFS Family Planning Program (FPP) and Family Planning Presumptive Eligibility (FPPE). Through practical examples and implementation tools, you'll learn how to educate patients and community members about this program, identify individuals who may be eligible, and confidently enroll eligible patients in FPP/FPPE coverage. In addition to providing a comprehensive introduction to the HFS Family Planning program, you'll watch a step-by-step FPPE enrollment demonstration, hear how an Illinois health center successfully integrated FPP/FPPE into their clinic workflow, and explore ICAN! resources to support patient education, staff training, and successful implementation of FPP/FPPE.
