About the course
This spring, ICAN! partnered with Wisconsin PATCH (Providers and Teens Communicating for Health) to understand patient experiences in accessing contraceptive care and sexual and reproductive health services across the state. PATCH callers contacted 16 Wisconsin health systems across 36 locations to learn what prospective patients encounter when they reach out for care. Only 41% of callers were accurately connected to Family Planning Only Services (FPOS) coverage as an option for no-cost contraceptive care. We invite Wisconsin safety net health center staff to join us and learn how to leverage FPOS coverage to strengthen patient engagement in care and maximize reimbursement for previously uninsured visits. Learn actionable strategies to connect patients to coverage at first contact, support access to care, and capture revenue for services you're already providing, including annual exams, contraception, STI testing, and other preventative care.
